This role is pivotal in directing and managing the service-specific resources and operations at the branch level. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Achieving all service operational objectives, including revenue, profitability, and human resource management for the service department.
  2. Collaborating effectively with other department managers, internal resources, and external clients.
  3. Delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring an efficient workflow within the service department that aligns with the company's financial goals.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in service operations is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing heavy equipment service operations or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • We seek a self-driven, enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capabilities in problem-solving, influence, supervisory skills, planning, and technical expertise in heavy equipment maintenance and dealership operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with both staff and customers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are a must, with the ability to engage positively with clients and team members.
  • Physical capability to frequently reach, bend, and walk.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department, both in-shop and in-field.
  • Ensure efficient service delivery and workflow.
  • Coordinate with lead technicians to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor work orders, schedules, repairs, and quality assurance.
  • Provide support and guidance to the service team.
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the service area.
  • Familiarity with warranty invoicing and submission processes.
  • Coordinate with the parts department for timely parts delivery.
  • Ensure accuracy in invoicing.
  • Collaborate with sales departments regarding customer delivery schedules.

Compensation: Starting from $60,000 to $90,000 based on experience.
