Your Role

As a Facilities Operations Specialist, you will be crucial in managing and supervising the upkeep and functionality of our company facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all locations are well-maintained, secure, and operational, providing essential support to various departments and facilitating a seamless operational environment. This role may require assistance with the management of remote offices and occasional travel, including multi-day assignments and weekend work.

Daily Responsibilities at Prime Controls
  • Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance requirements.
  • Collaborate with external service providers for maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage minor repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance duties.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the facilities.
  • Prepare conference and training rooms, including the setup and teardown of furniture and equipment.
  • Assist in organizing company events and meetings, including food deliveries and pickups.
  • Inventory and Supplies:
  • Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Prepare and manage supplies necessary for company events and daily operations.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance records.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Work with various departments to meet facility needs.
  • Effectively communicate with staff and management regarding facility-related issues and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in a facilities coordinator or similar position.
  • Familiarity with facility management software.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience supervising maintenance staff or porters.
