Department Overview

The Retail Wireless division, which supports our Boost Infinite, Boost Mobile, and Gen Mobile brands, is elevating consumer expectations through innovative platforms, business models, and fresh perspectives. With a pioneering 5G network and a commitment to change, we aim to become the fourth facilities-based wireless carrier in the nation and a transformative presence in the industry.

Role Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a seasoned Bilingual Account Executive to manage performance in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, covering Boost Mobile outlets and national retail partners. In this essential position, you will work closely with retail proprietors to optimize their business practices, ensuring adherence to standards across all store formats in your designated region. Your role will involve project oversight, team leadership, and delivering sales training and mentorship to frontline sales personnel. Building and nurturing relationships with various stakeholders, including external partners, internal teams, and vendors, will be vital in driving exceptional performance in your area. As the primary contact for inquiries and issues at retail locations, you will serve as a reliable resource and advocate for retail partners, ensuring seamless operations and addressing any challenges that arise.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct visits to retail locations, providing coaching and training through role-playing and collaborative selling with sales representatives.
  • Oversee and promote marketing initiatives at retail outlets.
  • Make regular calls to stores to enhance performance.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resolving customer escalations.
  • Uphold and enforce Boost brand standards across all stores in the territory.
  • Utilize local insights and real estate connections to identify new retail distribution points.
  • Communicate with store owners to drive their sales performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to surpass sales targets across the region.
  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding all Boost products and services.
Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree with four years of relevant experience or eight years of related experience post high school.
  • A minimum of four years in sales and/or account management.
  • At least three years in training, relationship management, planning, or business administration.
  • One year of experience selling wireless products or services.

Skills and Competencies:

  • A valid driver's license with three years of active driving history, completion of driver's safety training, and compliance with DISH's Driver Safety Policy.
  • Experience managing contracts or vendor relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Capacity to quickly devise and implement solutions for escalations during retail hours.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in providing sales and marketing guidance to owners and sales teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $54,650.00 to $78,100.00 annually. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes flexible health options, flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) plan with company matching, employee stock purchase plan, career advancement opportunities, and a flexible time-off policy.

The base salary range provided is a guideline; individual total compensation may vary based on qualifications, skill level, and competencies. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment screening, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
