Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, assisting in product selection, and suggesting complementary items. Maintain a tidy store environment by organizing merchandise, returning items to their designated spots, and performing light cleaning duties. Manage inventory effectively and ensure timely processing of donations to the sales floor. Support the store's sales objectives.
  • Handle sales transactions using a point-of-sale system, accurately processing payments and providing change. Conduct cash drawer counts at the start and end of shifts. Safeguard the cash register and store inventory while remaining vigilant to prevent theft.
  • Provide coverage for fellow sales associates during breaks and in emergency situations.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints courteously, escalating issues to the Store Manager or Crew Leader when necessary.
  • Maintain regular attendance, adhere to personal grooming standards, and comply with the dress code, including wearing company-issued identification. Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
  • Follow safety protocols and loss prevention measures to protect personnel and property.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental and organizational goals.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining attentive to customer needs and adaptable to business demands.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience operating a cash register.
  • Bilingual abilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Capability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, and in environments that may be humid or dusty.
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. or more with assistance.
