Position Overview: Bath + Kitchen Showroom Sales Consultant

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

As a Sales Consultant in our showroom, you will utilize your expertise and exceptional customer service abilities to cultivate lasting customer relationships. Your main objective will be to meet sales and profit goals within the showcased categories. You will deliver outstanding end-to-end experiences for customers and establish enduring partnerships with designers, custom builders, and high-end remodelers within the Bath & Kitchen sector.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES
  • Meet sales objectives by providing exceptional service and adhering to the sales process: qualify, quote, address challenges, close the sale, and follow up post-sale.
  • Achieve gross product goals by assessing customer needs and applying suitable pricing strategies.
  • Expand the customer base in alignment with company targets, focusing on Average Monthly Active Accounts.
  • Analyze current sales trends and product performance using company reports to identify new customer engagement strategies.
  • Promote all displayed categories, including appliances, plumbing, and outdoor grilling, with enthusiasm.
  • Offer tailored solutions based on customer requirements, delighting them with options they may not have considered by leveraging market insights and innovative design thinking.
  • Build strong relationships with designers, custom builders, and high-end remodelers by understanding their business models and needs while presenting our unique value proposition.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and specification documents within one business day of customer interactions, communicating any changes in timelines as necessary.
  • Follow up on quotes within customer expectations to identify potential barriers to securing business.
  • Convert quotes into orders and manage product procurement following standard operating procedures.
  • Continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge to maintain industry leadership.
  • Participate in showroom events and training sessions to generate leads.
CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
  • Develop and maintain sales relationships within the remodeling and custom building ecosystem by networking with key decision-makers to secure sales and establish new accounts.
  • Proactively seek new leads on the showroom floor by engaging with end users and fostering relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively with Showroom Support and Network Development Representatives.
COMMUNICATION
  • Respond promptly to inquiries within one business day.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and monthly check-ins with management.
  • Communicate daily with support functions regarding backorder issues and tasks for showroom support.
  • Share insights, trends, and customer feedback positively to enhance current processes.
  • Disseminate market and competitor information across relevant channels within the organization and cultivate relationships at all levels.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
  • Manage daily calling and trouble queues and monitor overdue orders in accordance with company policy.
  • Track weekly sales performance and complete required training.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards consistent with sound judgment and company objectives.
  • Assist with credit and collections of accounts receivable as necessary.
YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Bilingual proficiency required

• Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years in sales with a proven track record

• Background in home furnishings, home improvement, or complex sales cycles

• Experience with premium products/services

• Physical and mental requirements include:
  • Attendance: Ability to adhere to scheduled work hours and maintain an onsite presence as required.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and remain seated or standing for extended periods.
  • Office Equipment Operation: Proficient in using common office equipment, including computers and copiers.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Mental Capabilities: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
