About the Role
Meritage Hospitality Group, a leading franchisee in the quick-service restaurant sector, is in search of a dedicated Vice President of Regional Operations to enhance our operational leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
As the Vice President of Regional Operations, you will be tasked with establishing performance benchmarks across your designated markets and spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership, systems, and operational processes to boost restaurant productivity.

This role serves as a critical link between regional markets and the Restaurant Service Center, consistently elevating standards for restaurant sales growth, community engagement, customer satisfaction, and team member development.

You will oversee approximately 200 Wendy's locations across eight northern markets spanning nine states, in addition to managing maintenance operations.

Specific Duties Include:
- Setting a clear vision for your markets in collaboration with the President/COO, establishing strategies and objectives to achieve this vision.
- Promoting a culture of ownership among Area Directors, encouraging them to operate as strong business leaders and to cultivate similar capabilities within their teams.
- Assuming overall accountability for Profit and Loss within your markets, ensuring that profitability targets are met.
- Defining operational standards for Area Directors, District Managers, and General Managers to uphold.
- Fostering the professional growth of Area Directors, guiding them to be visionary leaders who set ambitious yet achievable goals.
- Collaborating with Area Directors to assess the performance of their teams and strategically develop talent.
- Managing succession planning within your markets.
- Coordinating district assignments and leader placements in partnership with the President/COO.
- Identifying team needs and working with other departments to eliminate obstacles to success.
- Overseeing Capital Expense management and oversight.
- Collaborating with various departments at the Restaurant Service Center to develop systems and tools that enhance restaurant performance.

Additional Information
This position requires residency in one of the major metro areas under your supervision. Travel requirements range from 50-75%. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position reporting directly to the President/COO.

Candidate Expectations
We seek individuals with the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of multi-unit leadership experience, demonstrating a successful track record in business results and talent development.
- Experience in the quick-service restaurant industry, particularly with Wendy's, is highly preferred.
- Strong independent thinking and ownership mentality.
- Effective project management and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze P&L statements and set budgets effectively.
- Long-term planning capabilities for operational needs, construction projects, and sales forecasts.
