Veterinary Client Relations Specialist

Goshen Animal Clinic is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Veterinary Client Relations Specialist to enhance our team of committed veterinary professionals.

As a vital member of our veterinary practice, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. It is essential that you possess the ability to connect with both pet owners and their furry companions with empathy, patience, and understanding. Your primary role will involve managing front desk operations while facilitating effective communication between pet owners and our veterinary staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet each visitor, assessing their needs promptly.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, determining the urgency of requests.
  • Conduct client check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate invoice reviews.
  • Communicate visit expectations to clients, assisting them in managing their pets to reduce stress and enhance safety.
  • Process and document financial transactions with precision.
  • Schedule appointments based on client needs, patient requirements, and clinic operations.
  • Manage emergency situations and accommodate walk-in clients effectively.
  • Respond to online inquiries regarding products, prescriptions, or client questions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness in lobby areas, exam rooms, and ensure proper stocking of client and patient areas.
  • Recommend available products to clients through our facilities.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in client service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and patience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
