Position Overview:
The Private Dining Coordinator plays a crucial role within the Food & Beverage department, overseeing the meticulous planning and execution of exclusive events at various venues.

This position is essential in ensuring that guests enjoy a flawless and memorable experience while managing multiple events concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and nurture client relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities and revenue sources.
  • Collaborate effectively with Food & Beverage and Sales teams.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding reservations.
  • Create tailored menus for clients using InDesign and Office software.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Food & Beverage offerings and upselling strategies.
  • Plan event logistics, including seating arrangements, dining setups, and guest management.
  • Generate accurate financial reports and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Conduct quarterly competitive analysis for Food & Beverage services.
  • Assist in formatting and printing menus for the Food & Beverage division.
  • Complete event orders with detailed function information in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate between culinary and front-of-house teams regarding menus, service expectations, and timelines.
  • Manage events and proactively address any issues that may arise.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including hosting and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Strong focus on guest satisfaction, maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.
  • A genuine passion for luxury hospitality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Proficient in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Must possess valid work authorization in the US.
  • Food Handlers Card and MAST permit are required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; familiarity with InDesign is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the restaurant industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in luxury hotel settings is preferred.
  • Flexible availability for AM, PM, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent use of an office chair for administrative tasks.
