KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the comprehensive implementation of the ERP system, ensuring timely completion within the defined scope and budget.
- Develop and sustain detailed project plans that outline objectives, timelines, deliverables, and necessary resources.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams, including IT, Finance, HR, Operations, and other municipal divisions, to guarantee successful project execution.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including vendors, consultants, internal team members, and executive leadership.
- Proactively identify and address risks and challenges, formulating mitigation and contingency strategies as required.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of project outputs, adhering to established methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Facilitate post-implementation evaluations and lessons learned sessions to enhance project management practices.
- Manage additional IT initiatives as assigned, ensuring alignment with municipal objectives.
- Act as a mentor, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Supervise the consulting team involved in the ERP implementation, ensuring alignment with the project's goals and objectives.
- Hold Town staff accountable for their responsibilities, monitoring progress and providing guidance as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (PMP certification is preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively presenting information and influencing decisions.
- Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to analyze information and apply creativity to develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to articulate unique perspectives clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to interpret and utilize numerical data to make informed decisions.
- Ability to understand and appreciate diverse viewpoints and collaborate effectively to achieve common objectives.
- Ability to recognize the consequences of actions and take responsibility for decisions made.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of computing technologies (Servers, Desktops, Office 365, Active Directory).
- Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint Online (Office 365).
- Experience with Laserfiche.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across the organization.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
