Position Overview
The IT Internal Auditor will operate under general supervision, executing risk-based security and process audits related to SAP and other TBC applications that support financial and operational functions. This role involves engaging with business operations across Wholesale, Franchise, and Retail sectors to identify opportunities for process enhancements. The internal auditor will collaborate frequently with the audit team to receive guidance and feedback.
This position offers a hybrid work environment. Qualified candidates should be local to the Palm Beach Gardens area in South Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits and advisory projects on IT systems, applications, and business operations, including planning audit activities, performing risk assessments, developing audit programs, executing tests, discussing findings with management, and documenting progress and conclusions.
- Review Application and Systems Infrastructures based on risk assessments.
- Support internal audit engagements through data mining and analysis using tools such as ACL or Idea.
- Ensure timely completion of audit tasks, documenting work performed and conclusions reached.
- Maintain regular communication regarding task status with the IT Audit Senior Manager and Internal Audit Team.
- Facilitate communication with management through written reports and presentations.
- Educate process owners on the significance of effective risk management practices and controls to mitigate risks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Audits or related operations.
- Proficiency in SAP, including data generation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CAATS and data analytics.
- Familiarity with the COBIT Framework.
- Understanding of IT General Controls, Application Controls, IT Infrastructure, programs, networks, and databases.
- Cybersecurity and Data Integrity experience is advantageous.
- Big 4 audit experience is a plus.
- Current professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC) and Lean Six Sigma are beneficial.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Minimal travel may be required.
