Position: Senior Project Manager

Location: Hybrid work model (in-office presence required)

Contract Duration: Ongoing 6-month engagement

Compensation: Up to $70/hour

Essential Qualifications:

6-8+ years of experience in managing IT projects

Certifications: Active PMP and CSM required

Proven experience as a Scrum Lead, facilitating daily stand-up meetings

Strong capability in financial forecasting and budget management

Experience in a dynamic enterprise environment, managing multiple high-budget, high-visibility projects simultaneously

Proficient in overseeing third-party vendors, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and budget maintenance

Experience in public cloud environments, particularly Azure

Familiarity with ADO boards for planning, tracking, and managing project tasks and sprints

Experience with Service Now for project management

Previous involvement in product integration teams or leading product initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree (e.g., MBA)

Experience with ERP migration projects, particularly D365, or related implementation/modernization efforts

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly qualified IT Project Manager to oversee and deliver IT initiatives with an emphasis on Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will possess extensive project management expertise, adeptness in managing project costs, and a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams. Knowledge of ADO boards and Service Now is essential, while familiarity with Microsoft Azure migration or modernization projects is highly advantageous.

Core Duties:

  • Oversee projects involving multiple vendors, departments, and intricate integrations
  • Facilitate the establishment of project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including external integrations and dependencies
  • Lead and coordinate project teams effectively
  • Define project tasks and manage resource allocation
  • Oversee project budgets, including monthly forecasting and accrual tracking
  • Identify and address project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies
  • Manage project modifications to meet objectives
  • Monitor and communicate project status to all stakeholders
  • Timely escalation of concerns as necessary
  • Provide direction and guidance to external vendors when applicable
  • Participate in project quality audits
  • Assist in the development of Requests for Information/Proposals (RFI/RFP) for external services as needed
  • Exhibit strong leadership and exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills
