Site Safety Officer

LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled Site Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program that meets the requirements of EM 385-1-1 Section 1 and 29 CFR 1926.16.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols.
- Conduct facility surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of local safety programs and identify areas of nonconformance.
- Develop and implement action plans to mitigate or eliminate safety risks and hazards.
- Monitor and report safety performance metrics to ensure industry and corporate safety goals and objectives are met.
- Provide professional guidance and advice on conformance with current and anticipated worker protection and safety standards.
- Review and update safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a safety-related role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in preparing and enforcing safety programs on contracts of similar size and complexity.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
- EM-385 Certification.
- Experience with OSHA 30-hour construction safety class or equivalent.
