Job Overview

Reports to: Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all KPS initiatives within the Kasai North America divisions.
  • Collaborate with KPS Managers to identify training needs, implementation strategies, and assess the involvement of associates in KPS activities.
  • Ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
  • Assist the KPS Manager with various tasks related to KPS execution.
  • Engage in Kasai training and uphold a comprehensive understanding of global KPS standards.
  • Perform KPS process audits across Kasai North America operations.
  • Lead or participate in workshops or committees aimed at enhancing KPS initiatives.
  • Foster positive team dynamics and ensure compliance with KPS operational standards.
  • Adhere to established work practices that align with company policies, safety protocols, 5S methodologies, and regulatory or customer requirements.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years in a supervisory role within a production environment.
  • Three to four years of practical experience in assembly line and injection molding processes.

Required Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work any assigned shift and to work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to travel for KPS training and implementation support within Kasai North America divisions.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily situated in a manufacturing setting. Employees may frequently encounter moving mechanical components and vibrations. The noise level in the workplace can be elevated.


Physical Requirements:

Employees are often required to stand or walk for extended periods, use their hands for handling or feeling, and reach with their arms. Occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be necessary. Employees must frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds. There may also be instances of working in elevated temperatures.
