Job Overview

Reports to: Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all KPS initiatives within the Kasai North America divisions.
  • Collaborate with KPS Managers to assess training needs, implementation strategies, and evaluate employee engagement in KPS initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
  • Assist the KPS Manager with various tasks related to KPS execution.
  • Engage in Kasai training programs and maintain comprehensive knowledge of global KPS standards.
  • Conduct audits of KPS processes within Kasai North America operations.
  • Participate in workshops or committees aimed at enhancing KPS activities.
  • Foster positive team dynamics and ensure compliance with KPS operational standards.
  • Adhere to established work practices that align with company policies, safety protocols, 5S methodologies, and regulatory or customer specifications.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of three years in a supervisory role within a production environment.
  • Three to four years of direct experience in assembly line and injection molding processes.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work any assigned shift and to perform overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to travel to support KPS training and implementation across Kasai North America divisions.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily situated in a manufacturing setting. Employees may frequently encounter moving mechanical components and vibrations. The noise level in the workplace can be considerable.


Physical Requirements:

Employees are often required to stand or walk for extended periods, use hands for handling or feeling, and reach with arms. Occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be necessary. The role involves frequently lifting or moving up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Employees may also need to work in elevated temperatures.
