Position Overview:

Parsons Company is in search of exceptionally skilled Field Engineers to enhance our team. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' mission objectives within a dynamic and challenging landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and operational expertise in alignment with the client's CUAS initiatives.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team, including other Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and the Project Manager, focusing on site operations and customer training needs.
  • Assist in the upkeep of deployed CUAS equipment, including the reinstallation of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), training, integration, and ongoing support of these systems with existing client frameworks across multiple overseas locations.
  • Deliver hands-on assistance for ECM/CUAS technical, network, and integration projects.
  • Conduct temporary installations and removals of CUAS systems across various environments to facilitate client testing and evaluation operations.
  • Execute permanent and semi-permanent installations while providing continuous operational support, monitoring, and maintenance of CUAS systems.
  • Advise the CUAS Project Manager on equipment modifications and upgrades based on insights gained from operational use.
  • Travel internationally to perform technical inspections, system diagnostics, and restore CUAS systems to optimal functionality.
  • Engage in basic programming of CUAS systems, including software and firmware updates.
  • Collaborate with the CUAS team to develop and deliver training on system care, usage, maintenance, and preventive measures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a field service engineer, adept at installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and instructing end-users on equipment operation.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance on the installation and enhancement of company products and systems.
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) transmission and detection technologies.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. passport or the capability to obtain one.
  • Current Top Secret security clearance, with eligibility for a Top Secret with Polygraph clearance.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or relevant experience.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience with RF and/or cellular communication systems and network infrastructure.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with tools.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical data effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for daily interactions with clients and team members.

Additional Considerations:

This role involves routine manual lifting of objects weighing between 50-80 pounds and may require work in challenging positions, including climbing and working at heights. Candidates should be prepared for overseas assignments in various weather conditions and must pass medical screenings and weapons qualifications training.
