The Role
We are seeking a full-time Lead Space Systems Electrical Engineer to spearhead the design and development of sophisticated, high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs) tailored for space applications. This role is pivotal in advancing the frontiers of space technology.

This position is ideal for individuals who excel in dynamic environments and are passionate about driving innovation within a startup framework.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop cutting-edge digital and RF PCBs for space applications, ensuring optimal performance under extreme conditions.
- Lead the design of mixed-signal and RF systems, including link budget analysis and system optimization.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of PCB development, from initial concept through to hardware implementation and testing.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of new boards, addressing issues to ensure reliability and compliance with space standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PCBs with other system components.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the enhancement of design processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

- B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to PCB design for space applications.
- Extensive expertise in mixed-signal and RF system design.
- Proven track record in bringing up and testing new boards.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. government due to the sensitive nature of the work.
- Willingness to relocate as necessary.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
