The Vice President Restaurant Services is responsible for the oversight of the Restaurant Services department. This involves department operations and budgeting, as well as general leadership and accountability for a department's performance. The vice president will apply special knowledge, experience or skills to make departments run smoothly and in tandem with other parts of the organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

•Provides global direction for a corporation or organization by developing short-term and long-term financial and operational goals
•Works with other executive colleagues and departmental managers to implement plans and policies throughout the organization
•Works with a team of assistants to monitor and track progress toward goals and measure analytics
•Analyzes the company's financial statements and other indicators of performance in order to assess standing and financial position
•Determines ways to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve overall company performance
•Engages in high-level negotiations to generate lucrative contracts or build beneficial relationships with companies and individuals
•Nominates departmental managers and executive staff and advises about other high-level hiring decisions
•Updates the company's executives and board of directors on organizational finances, operations, and progress toward goals
•Represents the organization at conferences, meetings, and trade shows or at regional or national offices
•Maintains in-depth knowledge of his or her particular industry and liaises with specialized colleagues for expert advice on financial, legal, and regulatory issues
•Works in a wide range of industries, including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and business
Qualifications
•Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis.
•Highly organized; superior time management skills.
•Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
•Self-motivated; self-starter; extroverted personality.
•Work well with all levels of the corporation.
Education/Experience Requirements
•Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Business Administration required
•Minimum 10+ years of experience in upper management.
Physical Demands
•Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel
•Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.
•Long periods spent sitting at desk in front of computer screen.
•Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
