Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an entrepreneurial minded, high energy, proactive, hands-on Business Development/Project Manager for our growing federal agency project management company located near Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Responsible for targeting the federal government market; identifying, developing, qualifying and pursuing new business opportunities to grow the company.  Coordinating and preparing proposal documentation from the business and technical sides, including working with the finance department to determine winning pricing strategies. Develop and maintain relationships with key government agencies while maintaining a new business pipeline. Travel to trade shows and seminars.

Must have knowledge and experience with Federal and Defense Industry Contracting with an understanding of FAR and DFAR; program planning, executive and management and experience with GovWin, SAM.gov, FedConnect, GSA and/or similar systems. Must have outstanding professional communication, both written and verbal, technical proposal writing, strategic planning, developing bid and proposal budgets and pricing; multi-tasking, prioritization, MS Office and social media skills.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or related field with at least five years of proven experience developing and implementing successful plans for federal government contracts.

Competitive salary and outstanding benefits package with strong growth potential. While this position is primarily remote, the ideal candidate would reside in either Massachusetts, Rhode Island or New Hampshire, although applicants from DC, Virginia and Maryland will also be considered. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future. Must be able to pass a federal background check.
