Our ideal candidate will be responsible for targeting the federal government market, identifying, developing, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities to grow the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government agencies while maintaining a new business pipeline.
  • Coordinate and prepare proposal documentation from the business and technical sides, including working with the finance department to determine winning pricing strategies.
  • Travel to trade shows and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge and experience with Federal and Defense Industry Contracting, including an understanding of FAR and DFAR.
  • Must have outstanding professional communication, both written and verbal, technical proposal writing, strategic planning, developing bid and proposal budgets and pricing, multi-tasking, prioritization, and MS Office skills.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or a related field with at least five years of proven experience developing and implementing successful plans for federal government contracts.
