The Enterprise Identity team creates and manages authentication, authorization, and identity management experiences and capabilities for all digital experiences at American Express – including and the Amex Mobile iOS and Android apps. We're responsible for allowing our customers to safely access their data and service their accounts online, while protecting their accounts from unauthorized parties. We ensure that the right people are getting the right access at the right time.

We are looking for a passionate and talented Associate Product Manager who will be responsible for managing and owning our Enterprise Identity Intake Request Process, evangelizing Enterprise Identity and being first point of contact for our requesting product teams to interact with.

Responsibilities and Duties

Primary point of contact for Enterprise Identity Intake process working with a variety of business units who are requesting support from Enterprise IdentityManage day to day operations of working with requestors to get intake requests in a state in which they can be either assigned to a product owner or closed, running weekly intake calls to determine how to action intake requests, tracking intake requests statuses or other reporting that shows intake volume or any other KPIsContinues to work towards developing efficiencies or streamlining processes with IntakeCommunicates and brings awareness to requestors what Enterprise Identity is and how we can provide solutions for themMinimum Qualifications1+ years of experience with product managementStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills; comfortable tackling complex problems and breaking these down into manageable piecesHighly motivated with strong sense of accountability, initiative, and a "can-do" attitudeAbility to work autonomously in an ambiguous environment and identify areas of opportunity and deliver solutionsUnderstanding of building relationships and working with others is vital to successCustomer focused, is able to view things from the end users' point of view and approaches problem solving from therePreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree; computer science, information systems, engineering or related field preferredKnowledge of Identity, Authentication / Authorization domain is a plus Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
