Exciting Opportunity as a Regional Sales Manager at Johnston & Murphy

The Regional Sales Manager will provide oversight for a region consisting of Johnston & Murphy Retail, Factory, and Airport locations. Responsibilities include identifying, retaining, and developing talent, managing sales results, store operations, budgets, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise Store Managers and market managers
  • Recruit, hire, and train store teams
  • Train and coach associates on the sales floor
  • Network and recruit within each market
  • Meet sales targets and drive metric performance
  • Manage selling costs and travel expenses
  • Implement company initiatives
  • Act as liaison between field personnel and corporate offices
  • Support store projects within the region
  • Ensure operational standards are met

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of multi-store experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory turnover
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Business acumen and profit understanding
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Clear communication and ability to motivate
  • Ability to travel frequently
