Position Overview

The Regional Sales Leader (RSL) is tasked with spearheading growth initiatives within their designated territory. This role involves managing distributor partnerships to enhance sales across the entire Hobart product line. The RSL will cultivate brand awareness and drive new business opportunities, focusing on end-user clients while leveraging distributor relationships to maximize sales potential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain strong distributor relationships to foster advocacy for Hobart products and collaborate on growth strategies.
  2. Implement training programs for distributors that encompass product knowledge, marketing strategies, and operational processes.
  3. Create and execute account plans with strategic end users and distributor partners to significantly increase sales and market presence.
  4. Maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and consistent tracking of progress.
  5. Engage with key decision-makers to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products, aligning solutions with customer needs.
  6. Organize and conduct product demonstrations to support sales conversions and cross-selling initiatives.
  7. Build and nurture strategic relationships both internally and externally, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
  8. Manage the assigned territory efficiently, prioritizing key accounts and activities to optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Technical Certificate, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, particularly in commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Experience with industrial distribution channels is preferred.
  • Technical proficiency to effectively represent the full Hobart product range.
  • Strong skills in account management and sales opportunity development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required.
