Position Overview

The Regional Sales Supervisor plays a vital role in the field, necessitating frequent visits to our retail partner locations to mentor, assist, and oversee a team of Clean Energy Advocates who operate on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard exceptional Clean Energy Advocates with assistance from the recruitment team.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training to team members, offering in-field coaching to enhance the effectiveness of in-store representatives.
  • Work towards achieving team lead generation and sales objectives established by Sales Leadership.
  • Oversee the daily performance of Clean Energy Advocates.
  • Plan and manage staffing levels at retail sites, optimizing work hours and personnel deployment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for each retail location, ensuring complete retailer satisfaction, fostering relationships with in-store management, and coordinating in-store activities (training, informational sessions, promotions).
  • Conduct field assessments to ensure compliance with in-store standards (talk tracks, merchandising, uniforms, safety protocols, etc.).
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and communicate findings effectively to leadership.
  • Facilitate daily team meetings and weekly one-on-ones with each team member to track key performance indicators and ensure adherence to performance standards.
  • Participate in all mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain staff retention at levels defined by Sunrun, ensuring employee satisfaction and opportunities for career advancement.
  • Assist regional and national leadership in implementing new processes and managing change.
  • Localize productivity-enhancing strategies and provide feedback to support regional and national process improvements.
  • Achieve or surpass all team and individual sales targets.
  • Empower our customers with sustainable solutions while ensuring financial success for you and your family.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct management experience, demonstrating a successful track record in meeting team performance benchmarks.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales role with performance targets is highly preferred.
  • We seek seasoned people managers who excel in coaching and developing high-performing teams. This position demands strong communication abilities, a commitment to fostering a positive team culture, and a passion for our mission.
  • Prior experience in lead generation and consumer sales is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in email, Excel, Word, and CRM software (Salesforce); familiarity with Google Suite is a plus.
  • Experience with recruitment and people management platforms is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to cultivate a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for managing through coaching and motivation.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites (primarily retail locations).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays.
