Finance Coordinator I Hybrid I Herndon, VA

*This position regards 1-3 days on-site during training, once trained you will have access to a more remote schedule.

Our client is looking for an administrative assistant or entry-level finance candidate for a Finance Coordinator role in Herndon. We are looking for someone who has great customer service, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and experience within Concur (preferred). This is a Hybrid opportunity, requiring a few days on-site a week for training, once fully trained more remote capacity will be granted.

Description:

  • Provide support in implementing the AMEX Travel project across The Americas
  • Help with Concur/Basware Administration
  • Design and implement commercial agreements
  • Analyze industry trends and market competition to develop business improvement initiatives
  • Maintain exceptional professional relationships with all suppliers
  • Coordinate with buyers to maintain and provide updates on all pricing and prepare routine reports for all data with help of various available tools
  • Prepare reports on the working of all approved suppliers and purchase processes, maintain continuity of all supplies
  • Run greenhouse reporting and company travel analysis every month/quarter.
  • Maintain and revise Travel and Expense policies as needed and educate the employees about such policies.
  • Helps with Virtual credit card administration and reconciliation.
  • Perform relevant duties as assigned

Tops Skills:

  • Understanding of basic Debits & Credits
  • Concour or knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, Deltek, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Confidence, ability to work independently and as a team
  • Great communication skills
