Position Overview:

The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering administrative and member service support to Commercial Relationship Managers, catering to both current and potential members. This position involves the meticulous preparation and review of commercial loan documentation, management of loan disbursements, and various other responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate member service solutions, acting as a bridge between departments to address member needs.
  • Assist colleagues with member inquiries or issues, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to customer requests.
  • Process wire transfers, conduct account reviews, and manage general account maintenance.
  • Order necessary reports such as Appraisals, Environmental, Credit, Flood Certificates, and Title Reports.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for new, renewed, and modified commercial and real estate loans.
  • Coordinate with loan servicing for funding, ensuring all wires, fees, and payments are accurately processed.
  • Review, create, file, and terminate UCC-1 and UCC-3 Financing Statements, following up to ensure proper lien recordings and continuations.
  • Conduct post-closing reviews and manage file duties, including tracking, follow-up, and maintenance of loan files and document imaging.
  • Assist in processing renewals, ensuring actions are taken no later than 60 days prior to maturity. Request necessary financial documentation from borrowers as stipulated by loan agreements.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain awareness of and adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial or SBA lending.
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation processes.
  • Experience with Laserpro or similar software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to track numerical data and manage detailed organizational information effectively.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow specific instructions accurately.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with robust administrative and organizational skills, along with a willingness to learn.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
