Position Overview

The Commercial Loan Processing Associate plays a crucial role in delivering administrative and member service support to Commercial Relationship Managers, catering to both current and potential members.

This position entails the preparation and/or examination of Commercial Loan documentation, disbursement of loan funds, and various other responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver member service solutions, acting as a liaison between departments to coordinate member requirements.
  • Assist colleagues with member inquiries or issues, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to customer requests.
  • Execute wire transfers, conduct account reviews, and manage general account maintenance.
  • Order necessary documents such as Appraisals, Environmental Reports, Credit Reports, Flood Certificates, and Title Reports.
  • Prepare and process documentation related to new, renewed, and modified commercial and real estate loans.
  • Collaborate with loan servicing for funding, ensuring all wires, fees, and payments are processed accurately.
  • Review, create, file, and terminate UCC-1 and UCC-3 Financing Statements, following up to ensure proper lien recordings and continuations.
  • Conduct post-closing reviews and manage file duties, including tracking and following up on exceptions, maintaining loan files, and document imaging.
  • Review and assist in processing renewals in a timely manner.
  • Request financial statements, tax returns, and other necessary financial documents from borrowers as stipulated by loan agreements.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Maintain awareness of and comply with organizational policies and procedures, as well as regulations related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial lending or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation processes.
  • Experience with Laserpro or similar software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to track numerical data and manage detailed organizational information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to execute tasks with precision, accuracy, and adherence to specific instructions.
  • Proven self-starter with strong administrative and organizational skills, eager to learn.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
