About the company:
KQED is currently in search of a strategic and analytical Marketing Campaigns & Media Manager to complement our innovative Marketing squad. Our Marketing team, recently revamped, is revolutionizing KQED's audience engagement strategies. As the key player in our paid campaigns, you will spearhead efforts to attract and captivate audiences, steering the growth of KQED's channels and content. Alongside exceptional media management expertise, we are seeking a versatile individual who can contribute across various marketing aspects while orchestrating multi-channel campaigns.

  • Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns in collaboration with agencies, covering goal setting, measurement strategies, creative development, and media planning.
  • Create and oversee data-centric paid media campaigns spanning digital and traditional channels to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Guide external agencies in aligning campaigns with KQED's objectives, brand identity, and target audience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive user experience and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Supervise Marketing team interns.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Conduct A/B testing, post-campaign analysis, and explore new marketing channels for audience expansion.
  • Work closely with Audience Intelligence to track campaign performance and develop audience segmentation strategies.
  • Additional responsibilities include overseeing SEM, cross-promotions, and more within KQED's channel ecosystem.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Brings 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Possesses advanced data analysis skills and can derive actionable insights from complex data.
  • Shows adeptness in managing dynamic workloads with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external teams, presenting ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking in managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Is well-versed in AdTech and running campaigns on programmatic platforms.
  • Is willing to take on challenges with a proactive and creative approach.
  • Is driven by KQED's mission and is dedicated to driving positive change.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals, creative development, and audience targeting.
  • Familiarity with traditional media platforms is a plus.
  • Prior experience in managing relationships with creative and media agencies.
  • Deeper knowledge of SEO/SEM is advantageous.
