Job Description

The Greer Group is seeking a Voter Registration Assistant for a client in Raleigh, North Carolina.


This is a temporary role until November 2024.


Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM, with potential evening and weekend overtime required during election season, totaling up to 50-60 hours per week.

  • Perform various administrative tasks related to voter registration.
  • Handle data entry of voter registration and absentee ballot request forms.
  • Verify data entry accuracy through visual inspection.
  • Utilize document scanners to scan forms.
  • Process incoming mail and in-person documents efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing election-related inquiries.
  • Record absentee ballot mailings in the computer system.
  • Prepare Absentee By Mail Envelopes.
  • Assist in folding and packing outgoing mail.
  • Complete other assigned clerical duties.

Job Requirements:

  • Availability for full-day work and willingness to work long hours (including weekends) during the election period.
  • Prior experience in data entry with required assessment tests.
  • Ability to focus on repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
  • Organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to grasp election laws and processes and explain them clearly to individuals.
  • Capability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License.
