Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the welcoming face of GoDog, warmly greeting clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues with empathy and efficiency.
  • Ensure the completion of daily tasks by yourself or in collaboration with the Front Desk team.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities, including client registration, reservation management, lobby upkeep, and front office organization.
  • Act as a working Lead on the floor, responsible for tasks such as checking in and out pets, answering phones and emails, assisting customers in the lobby, and covering Daycare breaks as needed.
  • Assist in training Front Desk staff on GoDog policies and procedures.
  • Manage social media content and scheduling.
  • Support the Assistant Campus Director in organizing campus events and holiday activities.
  • Communicate holiday hours and maintain the Holiday preparation checklist.
  • Maintain the lobby slideshow and manage announcements, including Pet of the Month and Employee Spotlight features.
  • Assist with client registration, checking pets in and out, and relay important information to kennel and daycare staff regarding feeding, medication, and scheduled services.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, including lobby, common areas, and storage spaces.
  • Utilize Front Desk software accurately for effective communication between departments and precise data management.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including disinfecting play areas and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to foster a positive and professional work atmosphere, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in reception or administrative roles.
  • Ability to lead with kindness, compassion, and a calm demeanor.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities and suggesting solutions.
  • Ability to positively interact with the animals in our care.
  • Physical stamina to move throughout the facility and engage with pets, customers, and staff.
  • Comfortable with cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Capability to competently fulfill the responsibilities of any employee.
  • Pet First Aid and CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
