Our client is looking for a Part -Time Legal Administrative Assistant. The position is on-site in Des Plaines, IL Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The pay range is $18 to $20 per hour and benefits. You will be the first point of contact, helping address our current and potential clients' property tax needs. This would be a great position for someone interested in learning more about the legal field or someone looking to re-enter the workforce.

Responsibilities:
-Triage incoming phone calls from potential and existing clients to determine their needs.
-Assist walk-in clients, existing and potential.
-Update client information in internal case management system.
-Assist in generation of templated client and other correspondence.
-Respond to manager and attorney requests.
-Open and distribute daily mail as well as other assigned duties.
-Provide other administrative support

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

-Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing business needs and deadlines; comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment
-Strong ability to prioritize multiple assignments and projects, following through as needed

Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative office role, customer service, retail, sales and an interest in the legal field.
-Excellent customer service skills and professional telephone etiquette
-Effective oral and written communication skills to all levels of the organization
-Detail-oriented and extremely organized
-Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
