Job Title: Administrative Assistant (PERMANENT POSITION)

Location: Hartford (parking is free, this is not downtown)

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000, depending on experience


Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Administrative Assistant to join their Hartford office. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in providing exceptional organizational and administrative support in a professional services environment, or general contracting. This position serves as a crucial point of support for senior managers and the overall operation, making a real impact on our business's efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior managers as needed.
  • Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and client inquiries.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies, place orders when necessary.
  • Process purchase orders and expenses.
  • Assist employees with travel arrangements and manage expense reports.
  • Perform other related office tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of steady experience as an Administrative Assistant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment or general contracting is a must.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
