Position Overview:

The Vice President of Publisher Development is a pivotal role at PubMatic, focusing on enhancing our presence across various channels such as Display, Mobile, Video, Enterprise, and CTV publisher account acquisition in the Americas. This senior leadership position is responsible for uniting all relevant stakeholders and leveraging the full range of platform solutions within PubMatic to foster engagement and drive growth in our publisher segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to boost multi-channel, video, mobile app, Enterprise, and CTV publisher acquisitions.
  • Leading account acquisition efforts across the Americas, including the formulation and execution of comprehensive sales plans.
  • Creating regional business strategies that encompass account lists, assignments, and revenue objectives.
  • Monitoring sales performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Identifying and expanding vertical sales opportunities within the existing customer base, particularly in CTV.
  • Overseeing acquisition and negotiation processes for large-scale Enterprise prospects.
  • Building and maintaining strategic customer relationships to discover new value opportunities.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to design and engage in impactful initiatives.
  • Conducting regular team meetings focused on pipeline assessments.
  • Working with customer success teams to enhance customer onboarding and ramp-up processes.
  • Participating in industry events to promote sales and marketing efforts.
  • Utilizing strong communication skills to motivate team members and cultivate robust external relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in media or media technology, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role concentrating on publisher business expansion.
  • Established senior-level relationships with Display, Mobile, Video, and CTV publishers.
  • Proven ability to deliver insights and strategic plans to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business development related to emerging media technologies.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with a talent for creative problem-solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to represent the organization in external engagements and industry functions.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
