Job Overview

Position Summary: We are in search of a visionary and strategic Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to spearhead and enhance the expansion of our organization. This position is perfect for an ambitious professional with a proven history of cultivating and leading high-achieving teams, forging strategic alliances, and identifying innovative business prospects. The Vice President will collaborate closely with the executive leadership to shape and implement our strategic partnership initiatives, ensuring they align with our overarching corporate objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Direction:
    • Formulate and execute a detailed strategy for strategic partnerships that aligns with the company’s long-term vision and aims.
    • Spot new partnership opportunities and market developments to stimulate growth and strengthen competitive advantage.
    • Oversee the creation and execution of strategic collaborations and joint ventures.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-caliber strategic partnerships team.
    • Establish clear goals, provide direction, and ensure the team achieves or surpasses performance benchmarks.
    • Encourage a culture of teamwork, innovation, and ongoing enhancement.
  3. Client and Partner Engagement:
    • Build and sustain robust relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Negotiate and finalize significant agreements, ensuring advantageous terms and conditions.
    • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and gatherings.
  4. Market Research and Strategy:
    • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to uncover opportunities, evaluate risks, and comprehend competitive landscapes.
    • Develop and present business cases and proposals to the executive team and stakeholders.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and adjust strategies to meet emerging challenges and opportunities.
  5. Performance Measurement and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of partnership initiatives.
    • Prepare and deliver regular updates on progress, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
    • Ensure alignment of partnership initiatives with the company’s overall strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and establishing strategic partnerships.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Capability to analyze market trends, formulate strategic plans, and make informed decisions.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and other tools for business development.
