Reporting directly to the Global Managing Director & CRO, the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is tasked with leading RFA's innovative growth into key industry sectors.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-driven business development leader with a minimum of 10 years of external sales experience and a demonstrated history of success in the financial services sector, particularly in selling IT and Managed Services within a consultative sales framework.
Staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices is essential. The Vice President will develop and oversee new business initiatives, aiming to comprehend clients' comprehensive business needs and technological requirements.
In this role, you will be expected to meet or surpass sales targets and create acquisition strategies that enhance client engagement and market presence, while reinforcing RFA's reputation as a client-focused, comprehensive technology provider.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and execute effective client acquisition strategies aimed at engaging decision-makers, including VP and C-level executives, within the Financial Services sector (Asset Management, Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds, Trading & Brokerage).
- Proactively identify and connect with potential clients through various sales techniques, including outreach calls, emails, industry events, and digital platforms.
- Build and nurture robust client relationships using a consultative sales methodology.
- Plan and conduct sales presentations that effectively showcase RFA's ability to deliver value-added, solution-oriented strategies; clearly communicate RFA's capacity to address client challenges; demonstrate positive ROI when applicable.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional client service, including supporting marketing efforts with client insights.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, including pricing, payment schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and analyze various metrics, including quarterly sales projections and market analytics.
- Travel primarily within designated regions, with occasional trips as necessary.
Develop tailored strategies to identify specific client needs while remaining alert to new opportunities that align the company's future goals with RFA's offerings.
Maintain oversight of progress, balancing task completion while effectively communicating updates and challenges to the Chief Operating Officer.
- Coordinate with relevant business units to secure necessary resources for timely and budget-compliant task completion; collaborate with marketing initiatives by providing pertinent client feedback.
Design, coordinate, and implement Sales and Marketing strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of potential clients' overall business and IT strategies; effectively relay this information to RFA's design team to create solution-oriented roadmaps that meet client needs.
Oversee, manage, and assess Sales team operations, processes, and procedures in accordance with organizational standards.
- Lead marketing initiatives and guide the marketing team.
Staff Development:
Recruit, select, orient, and train team members;
Ensure a safe and secure work environment;
Foster personal growth opportunities.
Provide leadership in employee relations through:
Clear communication of job expectations;
Planning, monitoring, and evaluating job performance;
Coaching, training, counseling, and managing employee performance;
Developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 annually
Plus commission
