About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Melissa. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our customers and developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met and their issues are resolved.
  • Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Communication: Develop and deliver technical presentations, reports, and documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C#, or C++.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the needs of our customers and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Database Knowledge: Knowledge of database languages, such as SQL.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Technical Certifications: Relevant technical certifications, such as CompTIA or Cisco.
