Compensation Range:
$82,500 - $103,300

Job Purpose:
We are currently in search of an experienced Sales Engineer to drive the marketing of our products and services that our clients depend on.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong drive for achievement, a comprehensive understanding of the sales process, and a talent for identifying potential clients, cultivating relationships, and closing sales.

The successful candidate will be proactive, determined, and possess exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to present our offerings persuasively.


Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently exceed sales targets by maintaining, expanding, and pursuing clients within your assigned territory.
- Leverage product knowledge and an understanding of customer project objectives to craft unique value propositions supported by financial analysis and feasibility assessments.
- Utilize Salesforce for effective customer relationship management.
- Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with key stakeholders involved in product development and sales.
- Commit to personal growth and knowledge acquisition regarding new products, services, and business practices.
- Additional duties include preparing proposals, establishing pricing, delivering presentations, forecasting, managing programs, and executing other necessary tasks.
- Identify key customer stakeholders and swiftly establish connections to secure deals; collaborate effectively with various internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
- Develop strategies independently and collaboratively to tackle challenges at the deal level.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience or relevant industry experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations.
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
- Willingness to undertake overnight travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A college degree is preferred.
- Specific industry sales experience is advantageous, particularly a proven track record in selling advanced battery technologies.

General Job Requirements:
This position requires driving a company vehicle, necessitating compliance with the company's driving standards. Certain vehicles may require specific licenses and additional driving qualifications.
- Must be able and willing to travel overnight.
- Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds/11.5 kilos occasionally.
- This role will primarily be office-based, with minimal physical demands.
