Work Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week


Compensation:

This role is classified as grade 11, with a starting salary of $35,775 and a midpoint of $47,700. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience, in accordance with the college's compensation policies.

Job Overview:

The individual in this position is responsible for routine tasks related to the management of key issuance across the college. This includes overseeing the electronic door locking system to ensure operational integrity and aligning schedules with departmental and building requirements. The role operates under the general supervision of the designated manager.


Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year institution is preferred.
  2. Three to five years of experience in customer service.
  3. Ability to comprehend key system hierarchies and determine key usage based on individual roles while considering security implications.
  4. Proficient in troubleshooting system issues and collaborating with relevant personnel for resolution.
  5. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher.
  6. Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  7. Effective interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
  8. Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
  9. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain the computerized key system, including the identification, assignment, coding, issuance, and retrieval of all college keys, ensuring security and confidentiality.
  2. Provide customer service for departmental inquiries and walk-in requests related to various services, following up as needed.
  3. Collaborate with finance and business systems personnel to generate accurate resource allocation and management reports.
  4. Serve as a backup administrative assistant when necessary.
  5. Process budget transfers for internal departments and external clients renting vehicles.
  6. Assist in updating campus maps and building layouts, including the locations of safety equipment and emergency exits.
  7. Maintain required training and certifications.
  8. Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with privacy regulations.
  9. Demonstrate respect and understanding for diverse populations within the workplace.
  10. Support colleagues during periods of high workload or staff shortages.
  11. Adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Assist faculty and staff with various administrative tasks as needed.
  2. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  3. Be adaptable to a flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends as required.

Physical Requirements:

Primarily sedentary work, with occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.


Visual Acuity:

Close visual acuity required for tasks such as computer work and assembly.


Work Environment:

Typical office setting with moderate noise levels.
