Your Role

We are looking for an Energy Project Specialist to join our remote team. This position will focus on:

1. **Regular Engagement**: Collaborating with assigned project teams to monitor and report on project progress, addressing any challenges that arise.
2. **Project Assessment**: Conducting independent evaluations of project health and ensuring compliance with established requirements.
3. **Documentation Review**: Reviewing necessary project submissions for adherence to guidelines and coordinating feedback from team members.
4. **Data Management**: Overseeing the completion of data requests and managing submissions related to technical design, financials, and community benefits.
5. **Design Compliance**: Ensuring that all project designs meet the specified criteria and regulations.
6. **Permit Tracking**: Monitoring progress towards obtaining essential permits and environmental reviews.
7. **Project Reviews**: Assisting in the preparation and review of data packages for project progression assessments.
8. **Field Inspections**: Conducting site inspections during project execution to ensure adherence to design specifications.
9. **Safety Oversight**: Collaborating with teams to ensure safety is prioritized in all project phases.
10. **Quality Control**: Ensuring that all necessary inspections and tests are conducted throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and construction of energy-related facilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to align project goals among diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations related to energy facilities is preferred.
- Professional Engineering License and PMP certification are advantageous.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
