Role Summary
The Financial Planning and Risk Analyst II will provide essential business planning and risk management support to various management teams, addressing a wide array of financial and operational challenges with a degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
1. Analyze and interpret financial data, including sales and cost metrics, to assist in strategic decision-making.
2. Conduct thorough market and industry research to support financial assessments and risk evaluations.
3. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and reporting to senior management on financial performance.
4. Monitor and analyze cost performance against budgetary expectations, identifying variances and trends.
5. Collaborate with project managers to oversee changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
6. Support the long-range planning initiatives for capital and expense projects, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
7. Engage in risk assessment activities, tracking key risk indicators and facilitating proactive risk management strategies.
8. Foster effective communication and collaboration within the department and with external stakeholders.

Data Management and Reporting
1. Collect, evaluate, and maintain financial data analytics tools to enhance decision-making capabilities across the organization.
2. Work closely with executives and business leaders to identify areas for operational improvement.
3. Generate comprehensive reports for internal and external audiences, utilizing visual aids such as graphs and infographics to present data effectively.
4. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of business decisions and strategies.

Qualifications
1. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, coupled with 6 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or risk management within a sizable organization.
2. Alternatively, an Associate's degree with 8 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 10 years of relevant experience may be considered.
3. A Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance can substitute for two years of experience.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $81,862 - $122,792, with a midpoint of $102,327. Compensation offers will be based on individual qualifications and experience.
Incentive compensation is available based on performance metrics and company objectives.
