Position Summary
The Financial Planning and Risk Analyst II will provide essential business planning and risk management support to various management teams, addressing a wide array of financial and operational challenges with a moderate degree of autonomy.
This role involves gathering and analyzing critical data, including sales and cost metrics, conducting thorough market research, and assisting the organization in making informed decisions from both financial and risk management perspectives by utilizing risk assessment methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Planning and Risk Analyst, you will:
1. Develop and manage budgets, including adjustments and financial reporting for senior management.
2. Analyze organizational cost performance against budget variances and trends.
3. Coordinate and monitor project schedules, scopes, and cost changes in collaboration with project managers.
4. Support the Long-range Planning (LRP) for Columbia Station, identifying capital and expense projects in line with procedural requirements.
5. Assist in project coordination activities to maintain the annual project lists efficiently.
6. Conduct risk assessments and monitor key risk activities.
7. Collaborate proactively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
8. Collect, evaluate, and maintain financial data analytics tools across the organization.
9. Work with leadership to identify areas for operational improvement.
10. Create comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
11. Utilize data visualization techniques to present findings effectively.
12. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business decision effectiveness.
13. Structure large datasets to extract actionable insights.
14. Collaborate with fellow analysts to process and analyze information.
15. Prepare presentations and reports based on analytical findings.
Special Assignments
Engage in special projects leveraging your expertise and experience. Participate in benchmarking studies related to business operations.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in financial, accounting, budgeting, or risk management roles, preferably in a large corporate environment.
Alternatively, candidates with an Associate's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma/GED with 10 years of experience will be considered.
A Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance may substitute for two years of experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $81,862 - $122,792, with a midpoint of $102,327. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
This role is eligible for participation in our annual incentive plan, with incentives based on performance metrics and company objectives.
