Business Risk and Financial Analyst II

Position Summary
The role of the Financial Planning and Risk Analyst II involves providing comprehensive business planning and risk management support to various management teams. This position requires a moderate level of autonomy in addressing a wide array of financial and operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage budgets, including adjustments and financial reporting for senior management.
2. Analyze organizational cost performance against budget variances and identify cost trends.
3. Collaborate with project managers to monitor changes in project schedules, scopes, and costs.
4. Support the Long-range Plan (LRP) for Capital and Expense projects, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
5. Assist in project coordination activities to maintain the annual project lists effectively.
6. Conduct risk assessments and monitor key risk activities.
7. Engage in proactive collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders.
8. Collect, evaluate, and maintain financial data and analytics tools across the organization.
9. Work with leadership to identify areas for operational improvement.
10. Create insightful reports for internal teams and external clients.
11. Utilize data visualization techniques to present findings clearly.
12. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business decisions.
13. Collaborate with fellow analysts to process and analyze data.
14. Prepare presentations and reports based on analytical findings and recommendations.
Special Assignments
Engage in special projects utilizing knowledge and experience. Conduct benchmarking studies related to business challenges.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in financial, accounting, budgeting, or risk roles within a sizable organization. Alternatively, candidates with an Associate's degree and 8 years of experience, or a High School diploma/GED with 10 years of experience will also be considered.
A Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance may substitute for two years of experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $81,862 - $122,792, with a midpoint of $102,327. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance metrics and company objectives.
