Office Administration Coordinator

Murray Resources, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves collaboration across various departments, making it essential for candidates to possess a solid understanding of data management, basic accounting tasks, and general office procedures within a manufacturing context.
Compensation: $18/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Support (Mondays & Wednesdays):
- Assist the accounting team with data entry responsibilities.
- Verify shipment pricing from the previous day for accuracy.
- Collaborate with the billing department on necessary projects.
- Purchasing Support (Tuesdays):
- Provide data entry assistance to the purchasing team.
- Generate and assess purchase orders for internal equipment needs.
- Sales Support (Monday - Friday):
- Create credit requests for accounting upon receipt of returned goods.
- Update pricing and shipping schedules, coordinating with the shop supervisor as required.
- Work with the purchasing department to gather costing information and prepare vendor requisitions upon receipt of client purchase orders.
- Transform all orders into quotes, ensuring they are printed, stamped, and delivered to relevant shops as necessary.
- Oversee and track the delivery of products and materials.
- Monitor stock levels with the inventory team and initiate reorders as needed.
- Review contracts against original purchase orders from clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- 3-5 years of relevant office experience is preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing field is advantageous.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive initiative and effective communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and reliability are essential.
- Ability to assist across multiple departments as required.
