Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining daily construction schedules, ensuring timely material deliveries, and coordinating with project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Maintain Daily Construction Schedules
    • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date construction schedules, incorporating input from field teams and project management.
    • Ensure schedules are aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate Material Deliveries
    • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material deliveries.
    • Monitor and track delivery schedules to ensure compliance with project timelines.
  • Assist in Estimating and Soliciting Subcontractors
    • Collaborate with project management teams to estimate and solicit subcontractors for bidding and pricing.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Develop Future Subcontractors
    • Identify and develop new subcontractors to meet project needs.
    • Ensure new subcontractors align with company quality and safety standards.
  • Setup Jobs and Ensure Proper Documentation
    • Establish and maintain accurate job documentation, including construction schedules and material delivery records.
    • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company standards.
  • Review Daily Construction Reports and Quality Reports
    • Monitor and review daily construction reports and quality reports for any issues or concerns.
    • Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage Punch List Items and Ensure Proper Closeout
    • Oversee and manage punch list items to ensure timely completion and closeout.
    • Ensure all punch list items are resolved and documented.
  • Assist in Preparing and Issuing Change Orders
    • Collaborate with project management teams to prepare and issue change orders to subcontractors and vendors.
    • Ensure change orders are accurate and compliant with company standards.
  • Assist in Preparing Monthly Pay Applications and Lien Releases
    • Support project management teams in preparing and issuing monthly pay applications and lien releases.
    • Ensure all pay applications and lien releases are accurate and compliant with company standards.
  • Work Closely with Construction Superintendents
    • Collaborate with construction superintendents to monitor project schedules and budgets.
    • Ensure project timelines and budgets are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate Permit Inspections and Final Closeout
    • Coordinate with project management teams to schedule permit inspections and ensure final closeout.
    • Ensure all permit inspections and closeout activities are completed and documented.
  • Scheduling and Coordination of Commissioning Activities
    • Develop and implement commissioning schedules to ensure successful site testing and turnover to operations.
    • Coordinate with project teams to ensure commissioning activities are completed and documented.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Leadership Skills
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Experience Working with Customers and Subcontractors
    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and subcontractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
    • Collaborate with project teams to resolve customer and subcontractor issues.
  • Ability to Negotiate with Vendors and Customers
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
    • Collaborate with project teams to resolve vendor and customer issues.
  • Ability to Anticipate Events and Develop Adaptive Strategies
    • Develop and implement adaptive strategies to address project issues and challenges.
    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Strong Computer Skills and Proficiency with MS Office
    • Develop and maintain strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products.
    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient use of technology.
  • Experience with Working in Work Order Management and Documentation Control
    • Develop and maintain experience working in work order management and documentation control.
    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient use of work order management and documentation control systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous Electrical Experience
  • AC and DC Electrical Experience (Preferred)
