Position Overview:

The Patient Onboarding Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition for new patients to Option Care Health services. This position aims to provide a consistent onboarding experience that assures patients and referral partners that we facilitate a smooth transition in care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with patients, referral sources, sales teams, pharmacy, and nursing staff to coordinate discharge and secure necessary nursing and delivery services.
  • Prepare, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
  • Assist patients in securing upfront payments and guide them towards financial assistance programs when necessary.
  • Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims management and follow up on any missing paperwork.
  • Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple referrals and priorities effectively.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • The ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
