Job Overview

Patient Advocate / Support Coordinator

Are you dedicated to enhancing the lives of patients? As a Patient Advocate, you will assist individuals throughout their treatment experience, helping them address the emotional and financial hurdles they encounter. This position allows you to be the essential support that patients depend on from the initiation of their care until they complete their treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a reliable resource during the entire care process, identifying and helping patients to overcome obstacles to their treatment.
  • Inform patients about their prescribed therapies, including administration methods, benefits, and potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to ascertain coverage and support patients with financial planning.
  • Encourage patients to take control of their health by connecting them with additional support services.
  • Ensure prompt reporting of any Adverse Events/Product Complaints in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform the responsibilities as outlined.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Indiana or Kentucky.
  • Proficient in educating and managing patients with chronic illnesses.
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying work assignments and schedules.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal abilities.
