Job Overview

Patient Care Advocate / Support Specialist

Are you dedicated to enhancing the lives of patients? As a Patient Care Advocate, you will assist individuals throughout their treatment process, addressing both emotional and financial hurdles they encounter. This position allows you to be the essential support that patients depend on from the initiation of their journey until they complete their therapy successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a reliable resource throughout the entire care process, identifying and helping patients navigate obstacles to therapy.
  • Inform patients about their prescribed treatments, including correct administration, advantages, and potential side effects.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to clarify coverage options and aid patients in financial planning.
  • Encourage patients to take control of their healthcare by connecting them with additional support services.
  • Ensure prompt reporting of any Adverse Events/Product Complaints in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform the duties as outlined.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Indiana or Kentucky.
  • Proficient in educating and managing patients with chronic illnesses.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work assignments and schedules.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal abilities.
