Position Title: Associate Business Analyst Accounting

Job Overview:
As an Associate Business Analyst in Accounting, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial documentation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Your role will involve conducting financial assessments for internal management and external regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and scrutinize financial statements, schedules, and data requests for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Address accounting inquiries and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely information exchange.
  • Assist in the analysis of special projects within the accounting division or in partnership with other teams.
  • Accurately prepare journal entries while adhering to deadlines.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and detailed analyses.
  • Adhere to internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations related to accounting and financial systems.
  • Support operational personnel and management with accounting insights on projects to guarantee timely and precise reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, codes, and regulations applicable to the role and the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. If the degree is in a related field, completion of college-level accounting coursework is required for Nevada CPAs.

Essential Skills:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in research, communication, analytical thinking, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships.

Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with PCs, financial spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and accounting software is essential.

Work Environment:
This position is based in a general office setting with consistent workload levels throughout the month. No special physical demands are required.

Compensation:
Annual Salary: $66,300 (Minimum) to $78,000 (Mid); eligibility for a Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the company's discretion.
