RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare and scrutinize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.

2. Analyze financial data and trends to deliver insights that support decision-making processes.

3. Ensure that all financial reporting is precise, timely, and adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

4. Conduct account reconciliations and address any discrepancies identified.

5. Assist with both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

- Over 5 years of experience in financial reporting, ideally within the Energy or Utilities sector.

- Experience with SEC filings is essential.

- Strong grasp of financial reporting standards.

- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.

- Ability to meet stringent deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
