Position Overview

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Analyst, PeopleSoft Business within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Enterprise Student Information System (SIS) and is integral to the daily operations of functional users.

Key Responsibilities

The Analyst will:
  • Assist in the operational support of the Enterprise Student Information System.
  • Gather, assess, and convert business needs into functional specifications for development teams.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to resolve issues and fulfill enhancement requests.
  • Conduct thorough functional and systems testing to ensure system integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional challenges as they arise.
  • Support functional analysts in establishing new business processes and implementing additional functionalities.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent with four (4) years of relevant experience, OR
  • An Associate's Degree with three (3) years of relevant experience, OR
  • A Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of relevant experience, OR
  • A Master's Degree with one (1) year of relevant experience.

Desirable Skills

Preferred candidates will have experience with the PeopleSoft System and a background in IT project management, web development, and database management.

Work Schedule

This position offers a variable work schedule to accommodate the needs of the department.

Compensation

The role is classified under Administrative Faculty - B, with a competitive salary commensurate with experience and education.
