We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to enhance our dynamic Las Vegas team. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in construction and development management, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, a strong work ethic, and innovative thinking.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of five years in the construction field or a related area, with exposure to all construction disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing) preferred.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, though a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Skills: Proficient in Windows/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Word. Familiarity with Prolog or other Project Management software is a plus. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Suretrack, and Microsoft Project is desirable.

Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred (must be obtained within three months of hire).

Essential Duties

The Construction Project Manager will:

  • Oversee a comprehensive scope of work involving a full design and/or construction team as directed.
  • Manage projects of varying complexity and valuation limits, ensuring full lifecycle development management.
  • Analyze and resolve construction issues in collaboration with A/E supervision, clients, and contractors.
  • Possibly manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Develop and update field work procedure documents as necessary, involving research and interpretation of codes and technical manuals.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to contracting personnel.
  • Review A/E design documents for completeness, coordination, scheduling, and constructability.
  • Maintain daily communication with supervisors and project teams regarding progress.
  • Review and approve progress payment applications.
  • Correspond with owners, architects, contractors, and subcontractors professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor client-required reports and schedules prepared by contractors or subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project budgets and activity reports.
  • Provide mentorship to junior project staff as needed.
Safety Responsibilities

The Project Manager will:

  • Ensure compliance with project-specific safety plans and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct accident/incident investigations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Additional Duties

Other responsibilities include:

  • Fostering jobsite harmony and strong team relationships.
  • Coordinating and attending weekly design and construction meetings.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
  • Representing the company positively both internally and externally.
  • Acting professionally and maintaining a harmonious work environment.
